EPA Certification Requirements

Under EPA regulations, refrigerants may only be sold to individuals or businesses that hold a valid EPA Section 608 or Section 609 certification. These certifications confirm that the purchaser or installer is trained to properly handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety standards.

Customers must provide proof of certification or confirm that the refrigerant is being purchased for resale to a certified technician. Failure to meet these requirements may result in order delays or cancellation.
